How to create an Ad-Hoc network in windows 7

You can connect two laptops and play games and exchange files using Ad-Hoc networks, Which can be setup by following way.

Create a new network connection

Select ad "Ad-Hoc" network

Enter any name in the "Network Name" field and PASSWORD in "Security key" field

Now, first you have to connect to the network, then the network name will appear in your friend's PC. Also check for any IP conflicts in the adapter settings.

NOTE: DON'T CREATE A NETWORK WITHOUT A SECURITY KEY AS ANYONE CAN ACCESS THE  NETWORK.
